This listing is for a painstakingly hand done vitreous enamel painting.

Each stroke, each mark, is composed of finely ground glass, melted together layer by layer, until a painting of glass is created.

Set in sterling and fine silver, and hung from a approximately 18” sterling silver long short chain, with a beautiful hinged clasp. This chain will also include a ring to allow the clasp to be hooked in at a shorter point, to allow the chain to be worn at approximately 16”.

The piece displays the deep deep blue counter enamel, at the back of the painting, which can be seen through an ornately pierced detail, adding a bit of shadow box window to the back of the piece.
